The Community Accountability Project is collaboration between Oklahomans for Reproductive Justice, the Student Organizer’s Collective, and the OU Students for a Democratic Society. Though the community offers various resources for survivors of sexual violence, there are many gaps that remained unfilled, either due to budgetary limitations or because of institutional barriers. It is because of these barriers, limitations, and gaps that we are coming together to learn how to best care for our community.
Our hope is to bring together people of all gender identities, races, sexualities, and abilities to learn together and from each other on how our community can come together prevent sexual violence and heal.
Our reading and discussion group will begin meeting in January 2012. For more information, please contact sandra@ok4rj.org.
