In Oklahoma, we REALLY love children. “Preborn” or “Unborn” only though. Not living, breathing children. Ew, GET A JOB! So it might explain why we have horrendous infant mortality rates. There are groups like Oklahoma Family Network, OU health Science Center, and the State Department that are trying to change it. Looking into expanding Medicaid, WIC, SNAP, etc.
Speaking of Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), The State of Oklahoma just went and snatched Planned Parenthood from being able to provide those services. Nevermind that they were the only place open on Saturdays for appointments or that it takes 3-4 months (!) to get an appointment at one of the other agencies. WE CARE BOUT BABIEZ (but only if they get their vouchers at a non-papsmearing place!)
So there’s a Reproductive Bill of Rights now? Okay, that’s cool. I mean, thanks famous people!

I feel like I’m stuck in the 90′s (YOU KNOW I AM!) but Affirmative Action? This is still an issue? Let’s see what we know and what we don’t know about it.
And in “THAT’S RACIST” news, no, Native Americans aren’t just hangin ’round casinos all day, they do know about the right right to vote (Seriously, WTF?) but Al Jazeera has decided differently. Oklahoma has low voter turnout in general. We couldn’t brag about “Being the reddest state in the union” if the turnout were better. SO LAY OFF. Also, the writer has cool observations about Oklahoma on twitter. (Oklahoma has buildings! Kansas has a Chipotle! There’s a pic of Reagan!) BRO, YOU’RE A TERRIBLE TWEETER/WRITER. Maybe you should take up a food blog (Chipotle!) and write about awful food.
